This morning I held a class, and toward the end, out of nowhere I felt it coming. That wave of grief. Right as I was about to speak, it hit me, and I knew I wasn’t going to be able to get the words out.
I had to stop... my breath caught for a minute.... had to ask the ladies to just give me a moment...and yeah, it felt embarrassing not gonna lie, it felt exposing. It felt vulnerable in a way I didn’t expect. The last few weeks have been like that. Grief isn’t showing up the same way twice. Some days it sits heavy in my chest. Some days it’s in my throat. Some days I don’t feel much at all, slightly numb if you will… and then it catches me completely off guard.
There’s no rhythm to it, certainly
no clean way through it and what I need changes every single day. Some days I need to be quiet. Some days I need to move it through my body. Some days I just need to let it hit me and not try to make sense of it. Losing my dad isn’t something I can process once and be done with. It’s something I’m learning to live with… in real time and it hurts in a different way at different times. If anything, this work I do… it doesn’t take that away. It just gives me the awareness to notice it, to feel it, and to not run from it. So if you’re in something heavy right now…
Just know there’s no “right way” to move through it. You don’t have to have it together all the time. I certainly don’t, but I'll continue showing up, continue doing the work and continue riding the wave that is Grief without letting it take me under💙✨️I feel his immeasurable strength everyday

🌙 Moon in Cancer meets the Seven Sisters tonight💙 ✨

Tonight, the Moon moves through her home sign of Cancer, soft, intuitive, deeply feeling… and as she does, she brushes up against the Pleiades💙✨️
This is not loud energy.
This is not performative magic.
This is the kind of night that speaks in memory, in feeling, in the quiet spaces of the body.
The Moon in Cancer brings us home to ourselves. To our roots. To the places we were shaped before we even had language for it. And the Pleiades or the Seven Sisters have long been known as keepers of ancient memory, feminine wisdom, and the threads that connect us across time and lineage. So when these two meet, it’s not about becoming something new.
It’s about remembering what has always been there.
You may feel it as a softness tonight or a heaviness you can’t quite place. A pull toward the past. Toward your people.
Toward the ones who came before you, and the ones you still carry in your heart.
There is something deeply maternal in this energy.
Not just mother as a person, but mother as a frequency.
The part of you that holds, that nurtures, that protects… and sometimes, the part of you that has been holding far more than it was ever meant to.
This is a night to notice that.
To sit with yourself, even for a moment, and feel what rises without trying to fix it.
To let the body speak in its own language. To recognize that not everything you carry is yours… and not everything you feel needs to be explained.
There is wisdom in your sensitivity. There is memory in your bones. There is knowing in your emotional body that doesn’t need validation to be real.
Tonight doesn’t ask you to do.
It asks you to feel.
To remember.
To soften into what is already true. And maybe, just for a moment…
to let yourself be held by something bigger than you can see.
