Meet our new Clinical Counsellor Jodi Gaiser! Here's a little about Jodi: Jodi (she/her) holds a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology. She is dedicated to providing a safe and supportive space where individuals can explore their challenges. Her practice is rooted in trauma-informed care and person-centered principles, ensuring each client feels valued and understood.

She believes everyone has the capacity to learn and grow from their experiences and move forward in a more grounded way. Her role is to support you on this journey in a way that feels best for you.

Jodi draws from various therapeutic modalities to provide a holistic approach to mental health and personal development. These include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), including trauma-informed ACT, mindfulness techniques, somatic experiencing, self-compassion, attachment theory, relational frame theory, narrative therapy, compassionate inquiry, Cognitive and Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and language from Internal Family Systems (IFS). By integrating these diverse modalities she aims to tailor the therapeutic approach to meet the unique needs of each individual, fostering a strong connection and comprehensive growth experience.

Jodi strives to create a safe environment that is inclusive of all races, gender identities, religions, ages, or ethnicities, where everyone is welcome to express themselves openly.

Whether dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, or other life challenges, the goal is to empower individuals to explore their emotions without judgment. Together, we will work on building resilience and developing skills that promote emotional well-being.

Outside of work, Jodi can be found exploring the outdoors with her dog Leroy. 🐕

We thought it was about time we shared our amazing practitioners on our instagram! Introducing: Krysta!⛰️ Krysta is the founder of Mindful Mountains and she has a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy and BFA in Film with an extended minor in Communications.

​Krysta's experience in physical, neurological, and mental health have allowed for a holistic approach to wellness. Her desire is to empower individuals to thrive through an improved understanding of their bodies, brain, and abilities. Krysta specializes in work with neuro-diverse individuals and holds group therapy workshops with ADHDers.

​She is a q***r, neuro-diverse, outdoor adventurer who loves biking, snowboarding, photography, and writing.

Krysta is available for in-person work on Vancouver Island, and virtual work for individuals in BC, Alberta, and Ontario.
