New! Reconnect & Communicate - A Communication Group for Adults with Aphasia

Reconnect & Communicate is a 6-session group designed for adults with aphasia, to practice communicating in meaningful, everyday ways — with the support of licensed speech-language pathologists and peers who understand.

This group welcomes adults with aphasia, post-stroke or brain injury, to explore:
✅ Talking about everyday life
✅ Building communication confidence
✅ Using real tools (visuals, phrases, gesture supports)
✅ Connecting with others in a safe, small group

📍 Location: NE Speech Pathology Services - 120 Conception Bay Highway, CBS

📅 Sessions: Monthly, occurring on the first Thursday of each month from 10:30am - 12:00pm, for 6 consecutive months | Small Groups (max 10 adults). Now enrolling for June 2025 start times!

💰 Cost: Only $75 per session ($450 total)

New! Connect & Communicate - A Social Communication Group for Children✨

Connect & Communicate is a 6-session group designed for children with social communication differences, to explore how they communicate best — with no pressure to mask, perform, or “fit in.” Led by licensed speech-language pathologists who get neurodiversity.

This group welcomes children with social communication differences, ages 5–8, to explore:
✅ Communication style and preferences
✅ Feelings and building self-awareness through choice-based activities
✅ Connecting with peers in low-pressure, fun ways and building friendships
✅ Learning how to express emotions, set boundaries, and build friendships, their way

📍Location: NE Speech Pathology Services - 120 Conception Bay Highway, CBS

📅 Sessions: Monthly, occurring on the first Saturday of each month from 9:30am - 11:00am, for 6 consecutive months | Small Groups (max 8 children). Now enrolling for June 2025 start times!

Honoured to be featured in The Shoreline News for participating in the local high school’s career fair. It was a pleasure to share my experiences as a speech-language pathologist within our community.

Our monthly Baby Bundles Information Session will be taking place on Monday February 10th from 1pm-2:30pm at Parsons Rotary Clubhouse (1706 Conception Bay Highway, Seal Cove)

This month we are welcoming Dr. Micah Tilley who is a Child Psychologist. She will be discussing the importance of the parent-child attachment, and how parents and caregivers can support their child's feelings.

This program is intended for those who are pregnant, and parents and caregivers of babies 0-12 months.

If you have a baby between the ages of 0-12 months, bring them along for some play time!
