How I protect my wrists from carpal tunnel symptoms as a physio 💪

Since I use my hands all day, prevention is part of my routine. Here are 3 things that make the biggest difference 👇

✔️ I move often
Staying in one position for too long increases pressure in the wrist. I take regular breaks from typing, gripping, or manual work to keep things flowing.

✔️ I strengthen my forearms
Stronger forearms help support the wrist and improve how it handles daily stress and repetitive tasks.

✔️ I control my workload
Managing volume and intensity helps prevent overload. It’s easier to stay consistent than recover from flare-ups.

The real reason your neck hurts at the end of the day might surprise you. 👀

It’s not just “bad posture.”

Even perfect posture can cause neck pain if you hold it for hours. Low level muscle tension builds up. Muscles fatigue. Fatigue feels like tightness, stiffness, and that dull ache in your neck and shoulders.

The solution isn’t forcing yourself to sit straighter all day.
It’s adding movement breaks, improving muscle endurance, and strengthening your upper back so your neck doesn’t do all the work.
