Let’s talk about strength training myths 💪
We’ve all heard them, “lifting makes you bulky,” “cardio is better,” or “if it doesn’t hurt, it’s not working.”

The truth? These myths can do more harm than good if they lead you to train the wrong way or avoid strength work altogether.

That’s why it’s so important to consult a qualified health professional or physiotherapist before starting any exercise routine.

They’ll help you build a plan that’s safe, effective, and tailored to your body, not based on internet myths.

Drop a 💪 if you’ve ever heard one of these myths before, and let’s keep spreading the truth about smart, safe training!

Ever felt that weird mix of tingling, tightness, or “pulling” down your arm or leg? 👋

That might be your nerves asking for a little mobility work, and that’s where nerve glides come in.

✨ Benefits:
✅ Improves nerve mobility and reduces tension
✅ Eases numbness, tingling, or radiating discomfort
✅ Restores smooth, pain-free movement

Nerves love movement. It keeps them healthy, hydrated, and happy. 💪

Save this post to try later and give your nerves the TLC they deserve!

Being “busy” in physio doesn’t mean much if people keep cycling back in with the same pain.

What means everything?
✅ Seeing patients progress.
✅ Watching them move confidently again.
✅ Getting that “I finally feel normal” message.

That’s when I know the work’s making a difference, not just treating pain but rebuilding trust in their bodies.

Here’s your reminder to keep showing up for your rehab, because every small gain adds up to strength, control, and freedom in movement. 💪

If you’re ready to start moving with confidence again, message us and we’ll help you get there.

If your back could talk, it would probably say this… 😩👇

“I feel stiff after sitting, I lock up every time you stand.”

“Mornings are rough, I wake up tighter than your schedule.”

“Twisting? Yeah… not happening today.”

Sound familiar? Your back isn’t broken, it’s just begging for a little mobility love. 💙

A few minutes of daily movement can make all the difference in how you sit, stand, and move through your day.

💬 Which one of these sounds the most like your back right now?

Myth: “If it doesn’t hurt, you’re safe.” 👀

Here’s the truth... pain isn’t always the first sign something’s wrong.
You can have muscle imbalances, joint stiffness, or poor movement patterns long before you ever feel discomfort.

By the time pain shows up, your body has usually been compensating for a while. That’s its way of saying, “Hey, I’ve been holding this together for too long.” 😅

Regular movement checks and early prevention can catch those issues early before they turn into something bigger.

Don’t wait for pain to start. Message us to book a movement assessment and keep your body one step ahead. 💬

Small habits, big difference for how you move and feel every day.

Which one would you add to your routine? 👇

Struggling to figure out whether your pain needs strength or mobility work? You’re not alone, these two often get mixed up!

Here’s an easy way to tell: if your joints feel weak, unstable, or you keep re-injuring the same spot, your body probably needs strength exercises. Stronger muscles give your joints more support, improve posture, and help prevent pain from coming back.

If your muscles feel tight, stiff, or your range of motion is limited, then mobility exercises are the way to go. They help loosen tight muscles, restore smooth movement, and make everyday activities easier.

Most of the time, the best results come from a mix of both...strengthening weak areas while keeping tight spots mobile. Still confused? A physiotherapist can help figure out exactly what your body needs.

If an exercise feels too hard, try these helpful adjustments 👇👇👇

Struggling doesn't mean you're doing it wrong. It just means your body might need a different starting point. 💪

→ Modify the movement – Use less range, support your body, or reduce the load.

→ Slow it down – Focus on control instead of speed.

→ Build the foundation – Strengthen the right muscles with simpler movements.

→ Use support – Bands, chairs, or walls can offer balance and confidence.

→ Be patient – Progress takes time, and mastering the basics is a win on its own.
