Fatima Hozouri Registered Acupuncturist

Fatima Hozouri Registered Acupuncturist Licensed Acupuncturist at Serenity Health in Coquitlam.

Fatima Hozouri is a registered acupuncturist with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of British Columbia (CTCMA) and a Certified Balance Method Acupuncturist. She holds a Doctorate in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) from the College of TCM in Vancouver and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of British Columbia (UBC). With over 13 years of clinical experience, Fatima specializes in pain management, women’s health, pregnancy support, and mental health. Her dedication to continuous learning has led her to pursue a two-year fellowship with Dr. Yvonne Farrell, focusing on the treatment of psycho-emotional diseases. Fatima’s interest in Chinese Medicine began after personally experiencing the limitations of conventional medicine, which inspired her to explore the holistic, mind-body-emotion approach offered by TCM. She uses a variety of techniques—including acupuncture, cupping, ear seeds, electrostimulation, and nutritional guidance—to provide individualized care tailored to each patient’s unique journey. Her certification in Balance Method Acupuncture allows patients to experience rapid and effective relief, often noticing improvements while still on the treatment table. This method is especially effective for pain management and internal medicine disorders, making it a core part of her clinical practice. Patients consistently appreciate Fatima’s calm, compassionate, and soothing approach, which helps them leave treatments feeling relaxed and revitalized.

Some people enter our lives and quietly reshape our hearts. Lately I’ve been reminded how powerful human connection truly is — how deeply we can feel for someone simply because their presence has touched us in ways we didn’t even realize.
I’m grateful for those who guide me, inspire me, and help me grow into a more grounded, peaceful version of myself. Their influence stays with me every day.

Denial is one of the quietest ways a human heart breaks. It doesn’t shatter with noise or drama — it erodes slowly, piece by piece. When truth knocks and we turn away, something inside us hardens and something else grows tired.

We deny pain because it’s uncomfortable. We deny love because it feels risky. We deny our own worth because believing otherwise might mean facing the ways we’ve been hurt. But every time we push truth away, we push ourselves a little further from healing.

Living in denial numbs the heart but drains the soul. It creates an inner conflict — the mind knows what the heart refuses to see. Over time, that tension turns into anxiety, irritability, and exhaustion. The body feels it, the spirit feels it.

Healing begins when we stop pretending. When we dare to look directly at what is — even if it hurts — we make space for clarity, compassion, and peace. Denial protects us from pain for a moment, but truth sets us free for a lifetime.

Unlike commercial bread, sourdough is made with natural fermentation. This process breaks down gluten, makes minerals more bioavailable, and supports gut health with beneficial bacteria. 🌿

Every loaf I bake feels like more than food—it’s comfort, tradition, and wellness in every slice. 🍞💛

I love knowing that what I share with my family isn’t just delicious, but also deeply nourishing.
