Starting in 2022, the Allied Health Policy Secretariat (AHPS) has supported the proclamation of October 14th as Allied Health Professionals Day. An event that has its roots in the United Kingdom, Allied Health Professionals Day has gone on to be celebrated around the world to elevate and provide recognition to the amazing work conducted by the allied health workforce every day.
In 2025 the AHPS is launching a new initiative, the Allied Health Professional’s Day Recognition Awards. The nomination process will run through October 10th , 2025. An online survey form will collect nominations for each category.
