Maryam, who is a local mother as well as a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and Registered Social Worker (RSW) supports women, couples, caregivers, professionals, students, retirees, immigrants and adult children of immigrants, and BIPOC people navigating:
- Burnout or exhaustion from caregiving or work
- Anxiety, depression, grief, or life transitions
- Feeling stuck between cultural or familial expectations
- Difficulty connecting with themselves beyond roles and responsibilities
Maryam offers EMDR, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Grief Counselling, Existential Therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique, Trauma-Informed & Culturally Responsive Therapy and more. Much of her work additionally draws on her own experience of being a child of immigrant parents, BIPOC, a woman, and a mother.
