Natures Caramel 🌴

Dates are a huge part of my culture and faith 🤲🏽

Once you hit the last month of your pregnancy, you are recommended and advised by the elders to start eating dates to create a warm/heated environment in your body to aid your birth and labour!

But apart from labour it is also a holy month for us and we eat lots and lots of dates during this special month! ✨🌙 After a 15 hour fast a plump and juicy date is just 🤤

Dates are full of great source of fibre, calcium, magnesium, antioxidants, iron and much more 🙌🏽

This is our favourite way to enjoy a date:

Big mejdool dates
Nut butter of choice
Toppings - mini chocolate chips, whole nuts, crushed nuts, shredded / flaked coconut, drizzled black strap molasses or homemade chocolate spread!

The options are limitless 🤗
