Our centre in Alexandria, proudly celebrated their very first Congregate Diners with their clients. It was a wonderful turnout, they served 83 meals and shared so many smiles and great conversations. They are looking forward to the next one on Thursday, December 18th, with 110 clients registered and booked solid. When Danny Sinagra lost his wife Maria, his world stopped. With the help of Family & Patient Support Counsellor, Shannon Ball, at Carefor Hospice Cornwall he was able to start his life again. Through one on one counselling sessions and then becoming an active member of Hospice's Grief and Bereavement Support Group, Danny found ways to keep living while holding the memory of his beloved Maria in his heart.

Today is National Grief and Bereavement Day and is a day to reflect on loss and how we move through it by ourselves and with others at our side.
