Have you heard the news, Active Sport Physiotherapy Clinic will be merging with Cotton Mill Rehab on July 17! Here are some details as to what this means:

1. Christian Séguin, registered physiotherapist and clinical specialist in sports physiotherapy will be moving to our clinic. His current receptionist, Julie, will also begin working at Cotton Mill Rehab. We will set up a second reception desk, this one in unit 118, which is the physiotherapy side of the clinic.

2. If you currently have an appointment scheduled with Christian, your appointment will not change. He will just see you at Cotton Mill Rehab!

3. We will be keeping the Active Sports phone number in service, and moving it to Cotton Mill Rehab!

4. If you would like to reach Christian prior to July 17, continue to call Julie at Active Sports Physiotherapy at 613-936-0676.

5. As of July 17, you can call 613-936-0676 (current Active Sports phone number) or 613-362-1180 (current Cotton Mill Rehab phone number) to book with any of our practitioners, including Christian.

Dear Friends,

This post is definitely a milestone in the Active Sport Physiotherapy Clinic era. For the past 18 years, we have been providing physiotherapy care and brace fitting for the S, D &G area and have been loving it. What a great opportunity Sarah Despatie has offered us to joint her team and merge both clinics. As of July 17, 2023, we are quite happy to say that the Active Sport Physiotherapy Clinic and Brace Corner will be moving and working under the Cotton Mill Rehab banner at 705 Cotton Mill St., Suite 118, , Cornwall, ON. Come and see us in this beautiful facility.

Thank you so much to the PEI Healthcare Professionals for such a great weekend of teaching the Sport First Responder Course, great laughs and gastronomy.

Thank you for Randy Goodman and Sport Physiotherapy Canada for organizing it, Sport PEI for hosting it and Nancy Russell from CBC News: Compass (PEI) for the story.

A dozen health care practitioners on P.E.I. spent the weekend learning how to take their skills from the clinic and apply them to life-threatening situations at sports events, from lacerations, to cardiac emergencies to spinal injuries.
