If you're like most people, moving your body during the holiday break can be challenging. A big obstacle might be the thought that whatever you do has to be a certain length of time, or a specific intensity, or follow a strict schedule. But...

Movement is movement. It's all important!

Challenge yourself to start with simple moves, maybe swaying back & forth, dancing, or just flowing to your favorite tunes and see where it leads you. It doesn't have to be perfect, it doesn't have to make you winded or make you sweat. Simply move.

Today I had full intentions of lifting weights. Once I started moving, it flowed into a gentle yoga combo. 1/2 hour later, I felt complete. It was exactly what I needed!

This is what it looks like when your anxiety gets out of control. Peri-menopause anxiety while raising teenagers is real and raw, y'all! And, for me, this is the only thing that helps! Of course I follow it up with some yummy yoga.

If you're dealing with a super-stressor, find an outlet, whether it be heavy lifting, calming yoga, or simply screaming. And remember, you are not alone!❤️
