Tracy Sutton, MSc, RCC

I support adults (19+) in exploring and making sense of their life stories, deepening understanding of current concerns, and strengthening inner resources, resilience, and coping skills. I work with adults support a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, chronic health challenges, life transitions, relationship issues, burnout, self-esteem, and spiritual or transpersonal exploration. I specialize in life limiting illness with many years providing support to cancer patients and survivors, including specialization in trauma providing EMDR and ART.

Together, we'll work to help you feel heard and understood, building a vital foundation for meaningful change.

Slowing down might feel like a constant struggle. But sometimes we unknowingly avoid pausing - we're stuck in the busy-ness.

Because small pauses create space for understanding. Maybe we're scared of what we might find - grief, anger, loneliness, shame, self-doubt...

Try placing a hand on your heart and notice what comes up. Make space for self-understanding.

🌿 Welcome to the Team, Kate Ortwein (She/her)! 🌿

We’re thrilled to share that Kate will be joining Treehouse Therapy as a casual office assistant, providing support and coverage for our team. With her strong skill set and rich professional background, we know she will be a wonderful addition to the team and a great support to our clients and families. We couldn’t be more excited to welcome her into our community. 🤍

Kate holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a minor in technical writing and communications. Her background spans non-profit management and outdoor education, where she’s woven together leadership, communication, and a deep commitment to accessibility and inclusion for people with disabilities, people with lived experience, and underserved communities.

Outside of work, you’ll often find Kate exploring the beautiful unceded traditional territory of the K’ómoks First Nation, adventuring with her dogs and family. 🐾🌲

If you’re unsure whether your benefits are covered or what your options are, our admin team is always happy to help. You can also book a consultation with a therapist if you want to talk through what support might look like.

Andrea Gertz, MSW, RSW (she/her)
I value each opportunity to support individuals as they navigate life’s challenges.

I work with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, relationship challenges, anger, low self-esteem, life transitions, and those otherwise seeking space to reflect and grow.

Grounded in a person-centred approach, I prioritize creating a warm and compassionate environment where you feel safe to explore your thoughts and feelings without judgement. From this foundation, I integrate techniques from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Somatic approaches.

Together, we’ll work to deepen self-understanding, strengthen emotional resilience, and nurture meaningful change and connection in your life.
