Yana means so much to us and our community. 🥰 Our Old House and Ohspa team were so happy to present this amazing organization with a check representing funds collected from our staff throughout the year. Yana Comox Valley offers help to Valley families who need to travel for medical treatment for a child or for a pregnant mother. Their purpose is to improve access to healthcare by providing travel funding and accommodation. You won't have to look far to find someone who has experienced the tremendous support they provide in moments of deep need.

Sometimes our guests describe us best! We are so grateful for such beautiful reviews ... "Love staying here. The staff go out of their way to help you out when needed. The rooms are huge and upkept amazingly. Everything is spotless, and there’s a lot of extras provided. Amenities are a great bonus but I’m constantly impressed and leave feeling so clean and rested. My favourites are the lobby coffee machine and room espresso, clean functioning fridges, stellar bathroom setup, beds/linens always perfect, and being across from the river trail. Thank you!"🫶

It takes a village of people with different talents and skills to create the Old House and Ohspa experience. We always encourage interested people to send us their resumes, research our website, or to stop by the Hotel. The team we have is so awesome, and we're always keen to keep an active file of people we'd love to hire.

Quite simply, if you don't have a great housekeeping team, you cannot have a great Hotel! Well we sure do! 🙌 It has been a fun week of admiring and celebrating our A-MAZING Old House professional housekeepers during the 41st International Housekeeping Week!

In addition to making our guests feel welcome, these beautiful and strong women keep our suites clean and prepped, support each other in so many ways, and do the impossible on many sold-out days when there is a narrow window of time to clean and ready rooms for the next guest. We think they're the best team you'll find anywhere.

We also celebrated our equally important maintenance and janitorial team all of whom support the housekeepers in their mission.

Some of our key housekeeping members are not in the picture but have not been forgotten as we wind up our celebration on this beautiful day!☀️
