Yes. My babygirl as hospitalized Wednesday Dec 3rd as there was nothing more I could do and her condition was worsening. Shes recieved a lumbar puncture. A lumbar puncture, or spinal tap, is a procedure where a needle is inserted into the lower back to collect a sample of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) or to inject medication. This fluid surrounds and protects the brain and spinal cord, and its analysis can help diagnose conditions like infections, inflammation, and certain cancers. The procedure was SCARY not gunna lie as they gave her meds to try to put her to sleep, but she reacted bad. Stopped breathing. Body stiffened. My worst fear. We were there 645pm got home around 230am. Giving her her meds to keep her at comfort level. Shes still having a hard time breathing.
Today is Day 3 in ER.
I have taken the next few days off to be there for my daughter and help get her better!
