With a focus on core activation and breath coordination, Power Chi combines the benefits of Tai Chi with isometric strength training. Low impact and with the ability to progress at your own pace, Power Chi is suitable for all fitness levels. Develop balance, flexibility, endurance, and full-body coordination using training principles of the Chinese internal martial arts.
This progressive 10 class exercise program will incorporate both stationary and moving forms with the addition of hand weights. Starting with foundational forms, new ones will be added each week, eventually learning the full 24-form Yang Tai Chi sequence. Each participant will have the ability to adjust their own level of resistance to suit their own conditioning needs.
