Most of you may already know, but for those who don’t, I welcomed a healthy baby girl last August. These past seven months have been a beautiful time of getting to know each other and adjusting to life as a family of four.

For now, I’m not sure when I’ll return to work, as Joy is still receiving most of her nutrition through breastfeeding.

Thank you so much for your patience and understanding. I’ll be sure to keep you posted.

I hope you’re enjoying the blooming flowers and the longer days that gently announce the arrival of spring. 🌸

——— About Daiana Gama ———

The first time I attended a Yoga class was in 2002, and I loved it. It changed the course of my life. Since then, I explored different Yoga styles and integrated my favourite parts into my personal life and lessons. In 2006, I received my 500-hour yoga teacher training certification in Brazil. Sharing Yoga is one of my passions.

My classes cultivate awareness of sensations, breath, and movement to ground and tune the body, mind, and soul. I hope participants can leave the classes with clarity, balance and lightness.

I also offer massage, and when I’m not doing yoga or working with clients, my toddler keeps me busy :)

Daiana’s path with Bodywork started in 2000, studying Physiotherapy, which Massage Therapy was part of. In 2007 she explored Ayurveda, the Indian medicine that uses different massage techniques like Oil Massage (Abhyanga) and Thai Yoga Massage as tools to harmonize our Being. From 2008 to 2018 she traveled all over the globe learning and offering blissful Bodywork sessions.

Aside from being a massage practitioner and Yoga/ AcroYoga instructor, Daiana is a momma of a busy toddler 🙂

🌲 On my way home from Port Alberni campus I stop at Cathedral Grove to visit the majestic old-growth forest and charge myself ❤️
