Practical Spiritualism was founded by Dawn Elgin, after two Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI’s) sustained in 2017 propelled her on her own healing journey. After personally experiencing the many benefits of regularly practicing Meditation and Yoga, Dawn was inspired to create a supportive environment in which others could heal. She is now certified, with her YTT250, to teach Vinyasa Yoga, The Functional Approach to Yin Yoga, as well Meditation and Mindfulness, through a trauma sensitive lens.

Our Mission

We provide a safe space to regularly integrate science backed practices to support those experiencing life transitions, neurological and cognitive challenges, or other circumstances creating barriers to inner peace, clarity, and mental wellness.
