The tree is up and now the giving can begin. We as a team have chosen the YWCA Durham and their clients for this years wish giving. They provide essential services such as emergency, temporary and permanent housing, as well as programs and supports for vulnerable women and children throughout Durham Region. We would like to invite community members like yourselves to help us in providing some items for their annual giving days where their clients shop for free. From November 24 until December 12 we will be collecting items and we will be making the official drop off of the donations on Monday December 15 to the Mcgrigor Street location. Thank you in advance to each of you who are able to help us support this years giving.

If you have an opportunity for us as a store to get involved for next year, please reach out as we are always looking for ways to support our growing community.

Winter has arrived and that means the Santa Claus parade and tree lightning ceremonies with their holiday markets have begun. Our staff member Erinne, was pleased to be able to support our local parade committee by purchasing the seedling's from our fellow community member Van Belle Floral Shop. What a great connection and opportunity to get in the spirit of the holiday.

Stay tuned as over the next week or so we will be presenting a way that you too can help out and support another community member of ours. We love how our community supports and provides for each other!
