Taco night just got a little fancy—without the fuss! These steak tacos are protein-packed, perfectly seasoned, and ready to bring big restaurant-at-home energy to your table. Pile them into warm tortillas with your fave toppings for a weeknight win that tastes like a treat.
Ingredients
1½ lbs (675 g) steak such as flank or skirt
1/4 cup orange juice
2 tbsp each oil, divided
1 pkg Donair Seasoning
1 avocado
1 large tomato
½ small red onion
12 small tortillas
Toppings (optional): sour cream, shredded lettuce, grated cheese
Preparation
Slice steak against the grain into 1/3” thick strips; place in a bowl. Add orange juice, 1 tbsp oil, and seasoning. Toss to coat. Set aside to marinate.
Dice avocado, tomato, and onion.
In a pan, heat the remaining 1 tbsp of oil. Add steak in a single layer as best you can. Cook in two batches, if required. Cook 1 min, flip, cook an additional 1 min- 1 min 30 sec, or until steak is done to your liking.
Add steak, avocado, tomato, and onion to tortillas and serve with toppings, if desired.
Recipe Note
Make it a perfectly balanced plate: Serve with 1 cup sliced veggies, your choice.
