MJBerg Contracting Services is thrilled to announce the onboarding of an amazing subcontract instructor to teach swimming lessons for the 2026 summer season! We are both thrilled to provide the District of Lake Country, Kelowna and Peachland with more swimming lesson opportunities. Here is a little about Miss Szilvia:
"I (Miss Szilvia) was inspired to teach kids swimming lessons because I’ve always loved helping children discover new things and watching their confidence grow with each small achievement. There’s something really special about seeing their faces light up when they realize they can do something they once thought was impossible.
My experience with kids has taught me a lot about patience and creativity, especially when it comes to making lessons fun and engaging. I’ve learned how to create a safe and supportive environment where kids feel comfortable to try their best and enjoy the learning process.
My hobbies include playing volleyball because I really enjoy the energy, teamwork, and challenge it brings. I’m also passionate about lifeguarding since it allows me to stay active while helping others stay safe, which makes it both rewarding and meaningful to me.
I currently hold my National Lifeguard, Waterfront, Swimming instructor, CPR-C and my Emergency Medical Responder license.”
