In 2008 Trent Brereton, naturopathic doctor, joined his clinic with Kootenay Chiropractic and Kootenay Massage to form the Kootenay Health Centre. The result is an integrated health care setting where you can access a variety of holistic health care services under one roof allowing for continuity of care and follow-up. All of our practitioners are licensed and regulated in the province of BC and the services we offer are covered under most extended health care plans. Trent Brereton has been practicing family naturopathic medicine in Cranbook since 1997 using safe, effective natural medicine. He offers a wide variety of services including food and environmental sensitivity and allergy testing, hormonal testing and treatment, treatment of thyroid, adrenal, digestive and sleep disturbances among others. Last year Dr. Brereton introduced BIE (Bioelectric Intolerance Elimination) to his practice. This revolutionary treatment allows for the treatment of food and environmental intolerances without the need for natural or prescription medications. The BIE approach uses an instrument called the GSR-120 which is used to stimulate a variety of acupuncture points helping the body re-establish homeostasis and eliminating intolerances.
