We often stand at the intersection where willpower meets destiny, constantly battling to control the outcome. We clutch our five-year plans and rigid schedules, mistaking control for security. But this forced grip often chokes the life out of the experience.

The Path

I’ve been feeling the intense pull of a major energetic clearing lately. It’s strange—the last little while has been full of truly incredible, positive aspects and breakthroughs... yet simultaneously, it feels like I’ve been in a constant battle with something trying its best to defeat me or hold me back.
•
The Message in the Chaos
I’m learning that this push-pull is a powerful form of spiritual communication. When you’re rising, anything that doesn’t belong in your new reality will rise up to meet you—sometimes violently—to be released.
•
Recently, the universe sent a message I couldn’t ignore (literally—it came with a flash and a bang! 🦌💥). This experience, amplified by the energy of the Full Moon in Ta**us, was a necessary, jarring, and protective wake-up call about my personal self-worth and stability.
•
The gentle parts of me (the Deer energy) had to be shattered for the powerful, grounded parts of me (the Ta**us energy) to deploy and protect me. A clearing of blood as cells are in transition. My signs have always been so connected to my physical body it’s hard to move through it at times.
•
The Real Work: Release and Root
I’m embracing this lesson: True stability is not found in being gentle to the point of being vulnerable. It’s found in knowing your value and setting boundaries that prevent the gentle heart from being wounded.
So, tonight I’m leaning into this intense energy. I’m choosing to Release the patterns that let that “defeat” energy take root, and I’m choosing to Root into my self-worth. And to honor what my soul truly loves, I’m also hosting a private floating sound bath tonight—a beautiful way to clear and align with pure intention.

Four weeks ago, with the guiding heart of .energy.holistics , I worked through Reiki Level 3.
•
The attunement experience was one of the most vivid I have had, and Char was witness to many things unfolding and spiritual guests joining us in the space.
•
My animal spirit guides, Grizzly & Raven, joined me while my departed soul kitty Chloe observed. I smelled my grandmother and know that my raven-haired Navajo ancestor was near. She’s always near. My journey ended with a rough kiss on my forehead (which I soon realized was a kitty kiss from Chloe). My third eye blindingly opened.
•
Energetically, I handed Char a piece of paper with the words “I am not enough” written on it. It was dissolved in my hands by a brilliant light. She thought I might take my hands back & place that light at my heart… but it was that moment I brought them to my eyes & I was blinded by the light.
•
This energetic learning & healing is nothing I really expected to do in my life. Then one day, a door opened and I stepped through. No questions. Just knew that I had to.
•
And so I know how strange some of my story must seem to others.
•
But I’ve never felt more like myself before.
•
As my mentorship with Char draws closer to its close, it actually feels more like pushing doors open wider in my life, in my spirit. A soul passion found in death work, accompanied my all the energy of life around me. My brain tells me I should be afraid, but my heart knows better. Knows best.
•
Master Reiki Healer? I am. And not. More open than ever before & a student for life 🩶 Thank you Char.
