Kacy MacKinnon, RN

With a nursing career spanning seven years in the Creston Valley, Kacy MacKinnon is a local through and through. Growing up as a Kootenay gal in nearby Castlegar, she's deeply connected to the community she serves.

I am a people person. I especially love laughing and creating new relationships.
I am passionate about medical aesthetics.
I've known Carlee since I moved to Creston, and was fortunate to live with her and her family for 3 years. In that time we became great friends, and we would constantly chat about new skin care products and treatments, and nudge each other to try them. I can say that Carlee (and Zara) is where my passion for skin rejuvenation started. I began my professional medical aesthetics journey in 2021, and now I am fortunate to be able to expand it here at Zara as well. Talk about full circle!
I am thrilled to be a part of the Zara team over the past 6 months and cannot wait to continue to help people look and feel their best!

Zara is 1 and what a year it's been! I don't even know where to begin. To all of our current clients - thank you from the bottom of my heart. I love that it's become a safe place for all of us to share stories, experiences & make connections to help each other out. My goals starting this business, honestly, was to work a couple days a week helping people improve their skin. Little did I know, it would become SOO much more then that. I've met some of the most amazing women who have empowered me to empower others! It's given me an entire NEW passion and drive to make Zara into something even better!!
