Men benefit from pelvic physio en route through prostate challenges (including cancer). Prehab (assessment and learning prior to surgery, radiation etc.) and Rehab (during and after the "adventure") is the plan. Search Dr. Jo Milios to see some of her work (our teacher). Over and out!

November is prostate cancer awareness month! Mem have pelvic floors too, and pelvic floor physiotherapy can help cope with some of the sympotms associated with prostate cancer surgery.

“I really wanted to create something positive from a decades-long experience with pain.”

For nearly 30 years, Isabelle lived with debilitating pain — in her knees, lower back, and neck.

Doctors suspected arthritis, but no one could confirm it.

Finally, an MRI revealed the truth: ankylosing spondylitis.

With access to life-changing biologics and new sense of purpose — a path forward appeared.

Isabelle left her career in freight transport to join Arthritis Society Canada, helping others living with arthritis find support and strength.

Her story is a powerful reminder that lived experience can drive meaningful change.

I do these practices regularly and LOVED learning from/with Shelly over the years.
It's not about "Kegels" (whatever that word from 1942 actually means), but about timed, synergized, coordinated pelvic system movement with breath, posture, activation, release.
Oh, it's SO beautiful!

Add a new word to your vocabulary today: Metastatic.

Metastatic means that what began as a case of early-stage breast cancer has metastasized, or spread to other organs (lungs, bones, etc.) outside the breasts, and is now considered to be stage four cancer.

Other cancers can also metastasize, but whether they do or not depends on a large number of factors. One thing is for certain - regular screenings can prevent the discovery of late stage cancer and can save lives.

Call 866-726-9926 to see if you’re eligible for a NO COST mammogram.
