We wish you a safe and healthy holiday season. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from the staff at the Crossfield Clinic.

The office will be closed until Dec 30th. We will have Walk-ins available that afternoon. Please call the office at 9am if you would like to be seen that afternoon, for acute illness only please.

There are only a few days left to donate to our Seniors Christmas Stockings. Items can be dropped off at either the ATB Financial Crossfield or the Crossfield Clinic. Thank you Crossfield and area for your continued support!

A list of items needed is in photos. Items can be dropped off at the clinic or the ATB by Dec. 15th. Thank you for your support Crossfield!

The Crossfield Clinic has put out the Toilet-Tree again this year!
We’ve joined forces with ATB Financial Crossfield , Live Like You Mean It, and the Crossfield Christmas Hampers to help organize gifts for 50 seniors in Crossfield and the surrounding area. We are collecting donations of useful and needed items for local seniors.

At the clinic, we are gathering essential toiletries, including:
-Toothbrushes and toothpaste
-Toilet paper
-Kleenex
-Hand and body soap
-Shampoo
-Razors and shaving cream
-Lotions

At ATB, they are collecting larger gift items, such as:
-Female gloves / scarf
-Male gloves / scarf
-Pen / notepad
-Wrapping paper / tape
-Large-print puzzle/sudoku books
-Dish soap
-Dish and tea towels
-Female and male grippy socks
-Other larger comfort or household items

We are also happy to provide a complete “Adopt a Senior” list for anyone who would like to sponsor one of our seniors by supplying all the items for their basket.

An account has also been set up at the ATB for cash donations that will be used to purchase the items we do not receive by donation.

Please have all items in by December 15th.

Thank you for helping us bring comfort, dignity, and joy to seniors in our community this holiday season!

We’re excited to share some great news!
Thanks to a generous grant from the Rural Medicine Department (DLRI) at the University of Calgary, our clinic is now the proud owner of a brand-new AED (Automated External Defibrillator).

We’re very grateful to be able to add this life-saving piece of equipment to our clinic — though we sincerely hope it gathers plenty of dust and never has to be used!

With confirmed Measles cases in the Airdrie area, we wanted to share some important information. We ask that patients experiencing these symptoms to please call 811 before coming into the clinic. If you are unsure of your vaccination status, please call public health or log into www.myhealthrecords.ca. We are asking all patients that come into the clinic that are experiencing these symptoms to please notify staff right away and to wear a mask. Thank you for your co-operation.

Thank you so much to the residents of Crossfield. The Christmas gift bags for the seniors at the manor were delivered today with more headed to the Crossfield Christmas Hampers program. Your generosity helped fill the bags and warm the hearts of the recipients. They expressed great appreciation and wish you all a very Merry Christmas. Special thank you the two young elves who helped us with deliveries!

Women's Health News - To offer alternatives for pap testing, Nurse Tiffany has completed her training and is accepting Crossfield Clinic patients due for their Pap Test. Dr. Marc will still do your yearly physical exam, however, you can now choose to do the pap with Dr. Marc or with Nurse Tiffany.

If you're unsure if you are due for your pap test, please check your AHS My Health app. To book your appointment, please log on to AvaConnect. Appointments can now be booked online with Nurse Tiffany.

Do you have pairs of unused glasses sitting around? We are collecting used glasses - prescription or readers (especially readers). They will be taken to Africa with a humanitarian group in the fall. They can be dropped off at the clinic. If we are not open please leave them on the porch. Thank you!
