There is something powerful about gathering on land that holds story.
Join us for the next She’s Wild – Crafting: Nature Journaling & Sketching at Coal Creek Historic Park in Cumberland, BC.
We’ll begin beneath the cherry trees planted in honour of the 31 Japanese families who once lived at the No. 1 Japanese Townsite. Through meditation, shared story, playful connection games, and guided nature journaling with local artist Daryl Dancer, we’ll slow down and practice noticing — the trees, the land, the history, and ourselves.
This is not about being “good at art.”
It’s about presence.
It’s about interconnection.
It’s about witnessing with care.
Expect:
🌲 Grounding meditation
📖 Poetic storytelling rooted in place
🎲 Playful connection activities
🥾 Gentle walk through the historic site
📓 Guided nature journaling & sketching
💬 Meaningful circle reflection
☕ Tea and relaxed conversation
If you’re craving creativity, connection, and spacious time outdoors with other women — this is for you.
Come walk, play, sketch, and gather with us. 🌸🌿
