We are proud to support this year’s Twin Rivers Music Festival! 🎶

As a family-owned and operated funeral home, we believe in showing up for our community — not only in times of loss, but in moments of celebration as well. Events like this bring neighbors together and create lasting memories for families and friends. It features performers from the towns of Langham, Dalmeny, Martensville, Warman, Hepburn, and Osler.

Music has a special way of connecting us. It tells stories, brings comfort, sparks joy, and often becomes the soundtrack to life’s most meaningful moments. In both celebration and remembrance, music has the power to bring people together and lift our spirits.

We’re honored to be a sponsor, provide the live stream for the awards concert and to support the incredible talent, volunteers, and local businesses that make this event possible.

Writing an obituary is more than announcing a passing — it’s an opportunity to honor a life.

An obituary tells your loved one’s story. It shares their accomplishments, passions, personality, and the moments that made them special. It becomes a lasting tribute that family and friends can return to for years to come.

It also helps inform the community, allows friends near and far to offer condolences, and provides important service details in one central place.

Most importantly, writing an obituary can be a meaningful part of the healing process — a way to reflect, remember, and celebrate a life well lived.

Today in Saskatchewan, we recognize National Family Day — a time to celebrate the people who stand beside us through every season of life.

As a family-owned and operated funeral home, we see every day just how important family truly is. In times of joy and in times of grief, family is often our greatest source of strength, comfort, and healing.

When a loved one passes, it is family who gathers, who shares the stories, who holds one another up. It is a privilege for our family to support yours during those moments.

Today, we encourage you to cherish your time together and hold your loved ones close.

From our family to yours, Happy National Family Day.

Valentine’s Day is often filled with flowers, cards, and celebrations of love — but for those who are grieving, it can also be a tender and difficult day.

If you are missing someone you love today, please know your feelings are completely valid. Love doesn’t end when someone passes. It lives on in memories, in traditions, and in the quiet moments when we feel them close to us.

It’s okay if today looks different for you. Whether you light a candle, visit a resting place, look through old photos, or simply take a quiet moment to reflect — your love continues.

Today, we hold space for those carrying both love and loss in the same heart. You are not alone.

Lest we forget. "In Flanders Fields, the poppies blow between the crosses, row on row, that mark our place; and in the sky the larks, still bravely singing, fly scarce heard amid the guns below." —John McCrae.

A number of in-person GriefShare support groups are starting up this week and next in Saskatoon at Ebenezer, Erindale, The Neighbourhood Church and West Portal.

A GriefShare support group is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. Through this 13-week group, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief. Since there are no neat, orderly stages of grief, you’ll learn helpful ways of coping with grief, in all its unpredictability—and gain solid support each step of the way.

To find a support group in person or online go to https://www.griefshare.org.
