It’s hard to believe we’re already in the last month of our dip season. Despite a rugged winter It’s been amazing to have a consistent crew to share the ice hole with each week.

FEEL GOOD, DO GOOD: Cold Dips for Hot Meals 🥶🍝

Hey dippers, we’re back for our second season fundraiser in support of our neighbours 🌳

This incredible organization and community hub is a cornerstone of the Dartmouth north community - providing the important food and family services that help out thousands of community members every year.

Last year, the Darkside Dippers crew completed 385 polar dips 🥶 and raised over $10,000 to serve 2175 meals for local families.

This season we’d like to give back some more.

🎯 Goal: help serve 5000 meals 🍝 = $25,000 for The North Groves Family Supper Program.
Every $5 = 1 meal.

How To Join:
1️⃣ Set a polar dip goal/challenge (ex. 10 dips before March 29)
2️⃣ Track your dips and reap the benefits of regular cold immersion!
3️⃣ Share with family + friends to sponsor your challenge

👉Every $50 you raise serves 10 meals for families facing food insecurity

First February dip of the month ❄️🥶

What. A. Dip 👏

After lasts weeks closure it’s good to finally have the DIY outdoor ice bath back open for business 🧊 With the wind feeling -15C, the ice hole gave us some nice coverage.

They say it’s important to get out of your comfort zone🚫.. think it’s safe to say we got out of it yesterday.

Can’t wait to do it again!

Tomorrow’s community polar dip cancelled‼️

Sorry folks - It pains us to have to cancel tomorrow’s polar dip.

We’d love to brave the elements but unfortunately the current walking conditions on Lion’s beach and weather are just not conducive for a safe experience for everyone.

We will be back in full force next weekend!

👉 Sauna bookings will be postponed to next weekend with the option to cancel and receive a refund via the order confirmation email
