Sounds+ is a not for profit organization of Audiologists across Canada. A doctor's referral is not needed to visit an Audiologist.

Sounds+ wants every Canadian to take their hearing health seriously and make an annual visit to the Audiologist part of their health and wellness routine. Good hearing health is vital to a good quality of life. Sounds+ can help with hearing health by:
- Putting you in touch with a Sounds+ Audiologist
- Offering information about hearing health and hearing loss
- Finding a solution if hearing problems arise
- Providing expert knowledge about hearing instruments and related technology
- Offering counselling for those coping with hearing loss

We had an amazing Sounds+ meeting in Antigonish and we can't wait to share our plans for the upcoming year! Did you know there are over 90 private practice audiologists in Nova Scotia? With a new generation of students, we're confident that our province and the Atlantic region will continue to thrive and see even more success in the field of audiology!

Sounds+ is committed to providing a platform for professional and social connection among private practice audiologists, with plans to host virtual learning sessions with local experts, create a members-only social media group, and bring back our Sounds+ conference in 2026.

Members meet online for our regular meetings, and mark your calendars for our virtual Sounds+ learning seminars in Fall and Spring! We cherish our in-person gatherings, and Antigonish has proven to be an excellent meeting spot. We're excited to reunite in September 2025. Our Sounds+ Conference has been a resounding success and will now be held biennially. Stay tuned for Spring 2026 conference details for Halifax!

Our goals are to continue connections with students, third-party payers, and other like-minded groups, advocate for the hearing-impaired, and raise awareness of the importance of audiology.
