With over twenty-five years of experience, Peter’s Place is actively involved within the ABI community. We firmly believe in developing and sustaining family and social relationships. We have three locations, one in Mount Pleasant, on the South Shore of Nova Scotia, the second in a residential neighborhood in Halifax and a Drop-In Centre in Dartmouth. Peter’s Place is committed to empowering individuals in our program to attain their highest level of independence and quality of life.

Looking to give back to your community in a meaningful way?

We’re currently seeking friendly, reliable volunteers to support the Mobile Food Market at our Fairview location!

📍 Location: Centennial Arena (27 Vimy Avenue)

🗓 When: Every Saturday

⏰ Time: 9:00AM – 11:30AM (Including setup, pack up)

🏆What you’ll do:

•Help with market setup and takedown

•Create a welcoming, positive atmosphere

•Assist customers as needed

•Support our team in making fresh, affordable food accessible to the community

👀What we’re looking for:

•Dependable, team-oriented individuals

•A positive attitude and willingness to help
Ability to lift light to moderate items (tables, bins, produce)

•Criminal Record Check & Vulnerable Sector Check required
