Our community Christmas Basket Program is getting ready for another wonderful year of helping local families, and we’re accepting donations of new, unopened items!

If you’d like to contribute, please drop off your donations at the Parish Hall beside the Catholic Church by St. Mary’s.

Monday, Dec 8 – Thursday, Dec 11
⏰ 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Our amazing volunteers will be there to accept your items and make sure they go to families in need this holiday season.

🌿 Building Resilience – 8-Week Group Sessions 🌿
North Renfrew Family Services is offering a supportive 8-week program designed to help you strengthen coping skills, improve emotional well-being, and feel more grounded in daily life.

Each weekly session (Wednesdays, 9–11 AM starting January 14) will explore helpful tools like CBT & DBT techniques, mindfulness, relationship skills, trauma recovery support, and navigating grief, anxiety, and depression. Coffee, tea, and treats are provided, too!

Please note: Spaces are limited, so we ask that anyone registering commits to attending all 8 sessions. This helps ensure a consistent and supportive group experience for everyone.

🎁 North Renfrew Giving Tree – Community Support Program 🎁

Our Giving Tree program is up and running again! 🌲✨
Each year, generous people from our community donate new or gently used household items to help neighbours who could use a little extra support.

We post available items here, and our team works to match them with individuals or families in need confidentially and with no questions asked.

If you see an item posted that would help you or someone you know, please send us a private message. We’ll provide details and arrange pickup in a discreet and respectful way.

We’ll be closing applications at the end of the day, so if you or someone you know still needs to apply, please do so as soon as possible.

🚗 We’re Looking for Volunteer Drivers! 🚗

North Renfrew Family Services is seeking compassionate volunteer drivers to help make a difference in our community!

We’re currently in need of:
✅ Local drivers to help transport residents around town.
✅ Drivers for Ottawa trips to bring clients to important medical appointments.
✅ Drivers with a truck and/or trailer who can assist in picking up and delivering donated items to clients in need.

If you have a bit of free time and a big heart, we’d love to have you on our team!
