After a detailed review of the College of Registered Dental Hygienist COVID-19 Return to Work Guidelines for the reopening, we are happy to announce that we are open for appointments!

We’ve always had a very high standard of infection control and rigorous sterilization protocols. These will be further enhanced with the implementation of patients screening prior to their appointment, a physical distancing between patients, the use of enhanced personal protective equipment (PPE) for our staff, rigorous hands hygiene, and more.

Your oral health may affect your overall health !!!

Studies have shown that periodontal disease may be linked to diabetes, cardiovascular disease, stroke, bacterial pneumonia, preterm births, and low-birth-weight babies. Research suggests that people with periodontal disease are nearly three times as likely to suffer from heart disease. Oral bacteria can affect the heart when it enters the bloodstream, attaching to fatty plaques in the heart’s blood vessels and contributing to the formation of clots.

The best way to prevent oral health issues is good oral hygiene coupled with regular dental cleanings and checkups!
