BreastCheck Cancer Screening Clinic will be visiting Boissevain on December 2 & 3.

The mobile unit is a fully equipped mammogram clinic inside of a large vehicle with friendly technologists who welcome patients and conduct the mammograms. The mobile offers an accessible lift for individuals who may require mobility assistance.

➡️ Who is eligible for screening: Most women, as well as some non-binary, gender diverse, and trans people between the ages of 50-74. Breast cancer screening appointments occur every 1-2 years.

➡️How to book an appointment for screening: Individuals can call 1-855-95-CHECK (1-855-952-4325) to book a mammogram appointment.

📍Where: The mobile will be stationed at the Boissevain Health Centre at 305 Mill Road.

Please be aware that this holiday season the Medical Clinic will be closed for two weeks beginning Monday Dec.22nd.

Please plan ahead and schedule your routine appointments accordingly.

The Deloraine Health Centre's Emergency Department will be open as per regular rotation of On-Call. Please check the On Call schedule when posted in December to determine availability.

To ensure access to care, there will be non emergent, non-routine walk in physician appointments at the hospital between the hours of 10:00am and 3:00pm, Mon-Fri during this time, with the exception Dec.25 and Jan.1.

Please be aware of the changes to Boissevain On Call for tomorrow Oct.2. The ER in Boissevain will be closed from 3 pm - 6 pm.
