Happy Lunar New Year 2026 !!
Happy Lunar New Year to all those who celebrate! 2026 is the Year of the Fire Horse, said to be a time of rapid change, opportunity, and momentum.
When it comes to accessibility, more and faster change is what we have long been pushing for – and we know there are many opportunities to build on our momentum toward achieving a barrier-free Canada by 2040.
There’s no denying these are times of rapid change – but even as we look forward to seeing what’s to come, we will always advocate that accessibility be factored in from the get-go of any new technology or project. Because if it isn’t, a large segment of the population will be excluded, and costly fixes will reverse any momentum we thought we may have gained.
Here’s to welcoming smart, accessible innovation as the year gets underway!
