๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™€๏ธ Yoga can be a surprisingly soothing support for Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS), offering relief on both a physical and energetic level. It helps your body unwind, your breath settle, and your nervous system finally soften โ€” which can make a world of difference when your legs just wonโ€™t relax.

๐ŸŒฟ Hereโ€™s how yoga gently helps:

Encourages healthy circulation + melts away tension

RLS often feels worse when the muscles of the lower body are tight or when circulation is sluggish โ€” especially through the calves, hamstrings, and lower back.

Gentle, lengthening postures like Legs Up the Wall (Viparita Karani), Forward Fold (Uttanasana), and Reclined Pigeon (Supta Kapotasana) help open these areas, boost blood flow, and release the deep, chronic tension that can spark symptoms.
