KCo Health is a multidisciplinary team that includes speech-language pathology, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, behaviour consulting, educational consultants, and counselling. We believe in working collaboratively with communities, schools, and families. We strive to support students, staff and families with direct intervention, education and guidance.

We work with school teams to increase their capacity to effectively support student learning. Team services are provided remotely with options for in-person collaboration.

Integrated healthcare requires a team-based approach to care. These four factors help organizations, professionals and clients in their ability to work together:

1. Creating a shared knowledge of roles and responsibilities.

2. Clear communication between all team members across public and private care.

3. Service pathways that span organizations and professional disciplines to allow for early access to care from the right person at the right time in the right place.

4. Trust must be established between care providers, and more importantly, with people accessing services.

Time and resources must be dedicated to supporting team-based care that leads to empowered and engaged clients, families and communities.
