Facility-Wide Masking Notice for Staff and Visitors

Effective November 5, 2025
As a precautionary measure, Friendly Manor will be implementing facility-wide masking for all staff, and visitors. This decision is in response to increased cases of infectious disease in neighboring facilities and surrounding communities.

🎄 Holiday Season Considerations
As we enter the holiday season, we recognize this is a time of increased travel, family gatherings, and visits. While we welcome the joy and connection this season brings, it also raises the risk of introducing respiratory viruses into our home.
Our goal is to ensure that everyone can enjoy the holidays safely, without the disruption of an outbreak. Masking is one of the most effective ways to protect our residents, staff, and visitors during this high-risk period.

Additional Reminders
• Continue practicing hand hygiene before and after resident contact.
• Stay home if you are feeling unwell.
• Masks are available at all entrances and nursing stations.
• The home is NOT in outbreak
• We will consistently review infectious disease numbers in the community and reassess the need for masking.
