This past weekend cracked me open in ways I didn’t expect.

Two years ago, my mom passed after a rapid and devastating three-month journey with cancer, followed by a massive stroke. Since then, I’ve been tending to my grief the best I know how—through support, through deep inner work, and through learning how to be with myself in ways I never had before. I’ve been held by love, especially by my partner, who’s given me the space to slowly gather the pieces of myself again.

But this weekend… it stirred something deeper.

My daughter and I made the long trip to my mom’s place to begin going through her belongings. To witness pieces of her life, her memories, her essence still living in the spaces she left behind.

And my nervous system… in a way, it didn’t feel ready.

I felt myself drop into a full C-PTSD response especially in my way back home. Like I lost my center completely.

All the work I’ve done felt like it disappeared in an instant.I became hyper-aware, hyper-fixated… triggered by the smallest things.My body flooded—panic, tension, cortisol surging.Old patterns crept in—internalizing, worrying, spiraling, shame.

“Relax.”“Lighten up.”“Stop being so sensitive.”

Those words echoed louder than my own truth.

And even the journey there felt like resistance…Our bus left 15 minutes early—no refund, no grace.We scrambled, rebooked, pushed through—just trying to stay on track so we could meet my brother and continue on.

It felt like everything in my system was saying: this is a lot.

And maybe that’s the truth.

Healing isn’t linear.Grief doesn’t follow timelines.And no matter how much work we do, there are moments that will bring us back to our knees.

But I’m learning this too

Coming undone doesn’t mean I’ve lost my progress.It means there’s something deeper asking to be seen, held, and moved through.

So I’m here, gently finding my way back to center.Breathing. Softening. Allowing.

And reminding myself…

Hi! I am Stevi, your grounded light healer. I help bring sparkle to your consciousness by facilitating Sound Journeys and energy work to bring your mind, body and soul into alignment.

​I use my empathetic abilities combined with my love of dancing and singing to energetically provide grounding and light inspired healing.

​Also, I create blends of essential oils and put together a healing blend just for you and your emotional needs!

I am currently doing my 300 hour yoga teacher training as well as studying Mountain Shamanism. I am so excited to teach and hold space for you!
