✨ December is the perfect month to clear out the noise so you can walk into the new year feeling lighter, calmer, and more aligned.

This season, I’m leaning into the energy of:
➡️ de-cluttering what drains me
➡️ de-taching from habits that no longer serve
➡️ de-leting the extras that take up space—physically, mentally, and emotionally

…and making room to define, decide, and determine what truly matters for 2026. 💫

I’m Melanie, your holistic nutritionist, Metabolic Balance® coach, biochemist, and lover of all things wellness, balance, and real-life transformation. 💚

🌿 I have diplomas in Holistic Nutrition and Metabolic Balance, plus a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Biochemistry (yes, I’m a big science nerd 🤓).
🌿 I’m a mom of three amazing kiddos, married to an RCMP officer, and we share our home with two fluffy doggies who basically run the house.
🌿 I’ve personally walked through hormone chaos, burnout, and the “why is my body doing this?” phase — so everything I teach is rooted in real life, compassion, and science-backed support.

✨ **New Blog Post Alert: When Your Body Speaks… Are You Listening?** ✨

This week on the blog, I’m opening up about something deeply personal — my daughter’s health journey and how supporting her **parasympathetic nervous system** changed everything. 💛

For months, she struggled with symptoms that didn’t make sense together:
🔥 Heartburn
😴 Trouble sleeping
🤕 Headaches & eye pain/migraines
😣 Stomach pain
⚡ Lower back pain

Test after test came back *normal*… yet clearly, nothing was normal.
Nothing felt aligned.
And as a mom — you *know* when something is off.

What we discovered was that her **vagus nerve was overstimulated**, leaving her stress response stuck “on.” When the parasympathetic nervous system (your rest–digest–repair system) isn’t functioning as it should, the body can’t restore balance — and symptoms start appearing like puzzle pieces that don’t fit.

That’s when I knew we had to lean into natural medicine.
And I’m so grateful we did. 🙏

With the help of naturopathic care — and through gentle vagus nerve support — she began calming her system, reducing stress, and her body finally had the space it needed to begin healing.

As many of you know, this is more than just my passion… it’s my life’s work.

With my background in **biochemistry**, my diplomas from **CSNN as a Holistic Nutritionist** and **Metabolic Balance Coach**, I’ve spent years studying how the body responds to food, stress, and environment — and how we can support it naturally.

This journey with my daughter reaffirmed everything I believe about the body’s incredible ability to heal when we support it the *right* way. 💚✨
