We are thrilled to share some very special news about an upcoming event that some of our residents are participating in.
Our residents have been thoughtfully paired with Sparkle Dancers (youth from the local Sparkle Dance Academy Nova Scotia) in a beautiful inter‑generational project celebrating their life stories, connection, and legacy. Each resident has spent meaningful time with their paired dancer, sharing hours of conversation about life experiences, memories, choices, challenges, and celebrations. These heartfelt stories have been carefully listened to, documented, and honoured by the dancers.
With guidance and care, the dancers have been creating a self‑choreographed an original dance tribute inspired entirely by their paired resident. Each dance captures a piece of a life story that is dedicated to one individual, performed from the heart, and created to celebrate who they are and the legacy they continue to share.
This performance is so much more than a dance show. It is a powerful moment of inter‑generational connection, creativity, and respect.
