As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth daily operations. We are a therapist- owned, outpatient clinic with emphasis on quality care and personal attention with all our patients. Key Responsibilities:

· Greet patients and visitors in a welcoming and professional manner.

· Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries, scheduling appointments, and providing information about services.

· Maintain patient records and update information in the system.

· Verify insurance and collect co-pays or payments as needed.

· Coordinate patient flow and ensure efficient appointment scheduling.

· Assist physical therapists and office staff with administrative tasks as needed.

· Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and mail.

· Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.

Requirements:

· Previous experience in customer service, healthcare, or a receptionist role is preferred.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.

· Basic knowledge of office software (Microsoft Office, etc.).

· Familiarity with scheduling and medical software (Clinicmaster, WSIB, HCAI etc.) is a plus, but not required.

· Detail-oriented, dependable and able to work well in a team.

Oakwood access to the LCBO/Beer is open.

🚧 Hamilton Road Closure - UPDATE🚧

Hamilton Road is closed to all traffic directly in front of Dorchester Physiotherapy!

Our parking lot is open and accessible; however, to access our parking lot all traffic must enter on Hamilton Road from the East.

🚧 An Update on Road Closures for Hamilton Road and Oakwood Drive. 🚧

The easiest access to Dorchester Physiotherapy is coming from Dorchester Road and past River Heights Public School. If you are coming from the east, the best option is to take a slight Left onto Byron Ave and take a Right at Dorchester Road, continue to the stop lights where you will make a Right turn back onto Hamilton Road. The entrance to our parking lot is in front of the white Road Closed sign. This may add an extra 5 minutes to your drive.
