Here is something useful.
Did you ever wonder when you start something new how excited you are about it? The reason for this is a result of a chemical that gets created in our brain called dopamine.
How often do you get excited? When is the last time you were excited about something? Do you ever wonder why you were once excited about something new and as time elapsed you became less excited and perhaps even stopped or quit that task or goal?
Excitement creates dopamine. The naturally producing ‘good feeling drug’. Imagine if you can feel good more often! All you would need to do is just become excited about something. This may be celebrating that you’re halfway done a project or you’re a quarter of the way through a cleaning task or you’re on your way to attaining that weight loss goal or how you’ve gained control back of your health because you decided to quit smoking.
There are so many reasons to get excited and continue the creation of dopamine in your body. You see, you’ve always had the ability to control how you want to feel! The more you choose excitement, the more you’ll feel good and the more you feel good the more you’ll continue to choose excitement!
