As I sit with a cup of warm herbal tea + my sweet baby girl snuggled in close on this snowy morning, I wanted to take a moment to re-introduce myself. Perhaps you’re new here or you’re curious to know more about the WHY behind SRW in the valley.
As a board-certified Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Registered Acupuncturist, certified Integrative + Functional Medicine Practitioner + former Registered Nurse, the care I provide is rooted from ancient wisdom that’s supported with innovative methods + and an evidenced-based approach.
My care with my patients involves gathering a deep + thorough understanding of your health history via several methods, creating a timeline of when your symptoms started, getting to know dietary + lifestyle patterns, understanding your emotional + mental health, stress levels, sleep cycles, daily routines + carefully assessing your body via TCM methods (tongue + pulse), collaborating with other health providers in your circle + running functional testing methods if the path is not yet clear… to name a few.
Healing is not linear, it often takes exploring depths, acknowledging areas that get forgotten about or shining light on areas of ourselves that have been ignored. It requires setting goals, showing up + often, shedding old ways + patterns.
My goal is for my patients to learn + understand that the way their body is showing up, merely is the body trying to signal certain messages. My job is to dive into the WHY + guide you in the right direction by creating a detailed care plan for you, so that you can truly THRIVE.

Where you are at the centre + all of the components that make up your health are woven together.
I wanted to create a safe place for people of all walks of life to come + land. To know that they are heard + supported. A place where people could really feel they could get better. A place where preventative care is the pillar + where all aspects of your health can be taken care of.
With that vision to grow. Now, SRW is a team of 6 providers, all here to be apart of your web, all under one roof.
