Sacred Roots Wellness Sacred Roots Wellness is an Integrative Medicine Clinic that is located in the heart of Drumheller No one treatment is ever alike.

Integrative health care is rooted in the concept of collaboration & inclusion. Integrative health care simply means utilizing all aspects of health care (both Eastern & Western) to improve patient outcomes & overall well-being. The integrated approach in our clinic is rooted from the ancient practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It focuses on the patient's body as a whole both physically, emotionally and spiritually. It encompasses a comprehensive approach to each person individually. Each patient will have a customized treatment plan developed that is used as an integral tool to assess the patients progression and growth. Traditional Chinese Medicine can be used for many conditions and reasons.

Our Integrative team is made up of a group of licensed-professionals who all play a different role in your health, but all work alongside your entire health-care team.

You don’t have to know exactly what you need when you come.

We first talk about what’s important to you, where you want to improve or see change & then begin developing your care plan.

Hello + Happy Lunar New Year everyone!

Dr. Devaleriola here. 👋

I’m excited to inform my wonderful patients + the community that I’ll be returning back to clinic starting March 2nd!

Boy, am I ever looking forward to getting back in the saddle + getting to see both familiar + new faces.

Becoming a mother has been the most fulfilling, wildest + most joyous + love filled journey of my entire life. 🫶🏽

Motherhood also has ignited this strong + palpable force within me to continue to work towards raising the bar for health CARE for women + our daughters + our grandmothers. To continue to be an advocate. To continue to learn more + gather more knowledge + resources to be able to truly hold space to create the opportunities for women of all walks of life to truly flourish, feel their healthiest self + have the best outcomes.

Many of you know I’d been working towards an advancement in my career to become certified to practice Functional Medicine for Women’s Health in Alberta.

Your girl has successfully completed the year-long mentorship + functional medicine program under Dr. Aviva Romm. 🌱

I’m so deeply grateful to experience motherhood + the force of nature it truly brings with it. 🙌🏼

My purpose is so deeply rooted in my passion.

+ a big part of that is creating safe + sacred space for people of walks of life to come together to be given the tools to heal, thrive + grow through a HOLISTIC + collaborative lens.

That being said,
I’ll be integrating back into the clinic softly, starting back with one day a week + each month increasing my day(s) + availability over-time.

We are so thrilled to announce that Registered Midwife, Julie will be coming to host another prenatal education program beginning February 19th (4 sessions) total.

The entire program is hosted at Sacred Roots Wellness Clinic + we keep group size small to best accommodate everyone! 💟

Registration can be done in our link in bio (Jane app)!

This class is for new-to-be parent(s) or parent(s)who want a refresher course, for parent(s) who will be delivering under the care of a physician + having a hospital birth, parent(s) under the care of midwives, parent(s) having a hospital birth with an accompanied doula for support (the list goes on…)

Moral of the story, this prenatal program is exceptionally beneficial to everyone, regardless of their birth plan. 🙏🏻✨
