I have been practicing yoga for several years now. I have an active home practice and a keen interest in the practice of yoga. I am great at analyzing yoga poses and giving alternatives to participants. I am currently certified in Core Strength Vinyasa Yoga and Vinyasa Yoga, Yin Yoga, Chair Yoga and have now been teaching for 12 years. I have the following certifications;
Core Strength Vinyasa Yoga with Sadie Nardini, Evolution Teacher Training with Sadie Nardini & Journey Teacher Training with Sadie Nardini, 200 hr Yoga Alliance Certified Teacher Training with Ryan Leier, Yin Yoga Teacher Training with Crystal May. All classes I teach are all levels and inclusive. Drop in Vinyasa Yoga with Jenn links movement & breath to attain balance in the mind and body. Vinyasa aligns a deliberate sequence of poses with the breath to achieve a continuous flow and empowering your whole body through poses and sequences that feel incredible. I offer a supportive and encouraging environment and believe that through steady practice all people - regardless of age, gender, race or religion - can experience the benefits of Yoga. Suitable for strong beginners and up, this class is creative, flowing and fun! Yin Yoga with Jenn is for those interested in deeper stretches and longer holds using props. This practice will create more range of movement, lower the adrenaline and cortisol in the body, balance emotions, stretch connective tissue, boost circulation, enhance mental focus, promote relaxation, develop breath awareness, increasing flexibility and improving joint mobility. Chair Yoga with Jenn is a program that practices yoga poses while seated in a chair. Staying seated means that even those with mobility concerns or those who are not flexible can safely do the poses. Yoga is an excellent way for everyone to loosen and stretch painful muscles, reduce stress and improve circulation.
