After a decade of sitting with people in their darkest seasons, I’ve learned this:
👉 Depression doesn’t always look like sadness.
It can look like:
• Ignoring texts
• Letting laundry pile up
• Losing interest in things you used to love
• Struggling to get out of bed
If this is you, I want you to hear this:
You’re not lazy. You’re not broken. You’re carrying something heavy, and it makes sense that everything feels harder.

Today, just try brushing your teeth. Or opening a window. That is progress. Healing often begins with these tiny, quiet victories.
