Start Line Health and Wellness Group (Physiotherapy) is about providing our clients with quality care.

We are a multidisciplinary team of physiotherapists, massage therapists, and athletic therapists. Our goal is to provide treatment that will help you resume your regular activities as soon as possible. We do this through manual therapy, modalities, and exercise prescription. Education is also a key part of the self-empowerment process of health and wellness.

👋 We are excited to welcome Sophia Mercier, Chiropractor to the Start Line team on October 29th! Sophia will be joining our Gibbins location crew 👏

👩‍⚕️ Dr. Sophia completed her studies at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minnesota. Her chiropractic internship in Minnesota focused on Pediatric Chiropractic Care and pre/post natal care for moms. She has experience working with kids, adults, and older populations.

📚 As Sophia has a sibling with Autism, she has a special interest in treating adults and children with additional needs, which inspired her to complete her undergrad with a Major in Psychology at the University of Manitoba.

🌟 She has a passion for providing whole-person centered care, using a wide variety of chiropractic techniques including chiropractic manipulative therapy, cupping, muscle release techniques, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, instrument adjusting, and more.

⛳️ Start Line geared up this past weekend in support of Surepoint Group’s tournament fundraiser for Cowichan Hospice House, Grief & Palliative Support.

✨ This is an organization that provides compassionate end-of-life care and grief support to individuals and families in our community.

🙏 This amazing community came together to make a meaningful impact on those navigating some of life’s most difficult moments and raised over $9,000 for the cause.
