Based in the Cowichan valley,Vancouver island. I’m excited to have a few spaces available for companion services. I’ve been doing this work since October and I’m really loving it. Extremely rewarding. Extremely emotional at times. I’m offering outings that aren’t just about doctors appointments and groceries. I’m offering experiences as well as day to day needs. Birdwatching, library, movies, theatre, drives to the ocean, going out for lunch, picking up friends for visits, light housekeeping, playing crib, and talking about life and love. Really the options are endless. Either in home or in an assisted living setting, I’m open to both. I’m currently working at 2 facilities at the moment (Cairnsmore, Makola House), privately hired. 35.00 an hour. Our elders offer us so much, they deserve time and compassion and the option to form new experiences. I’m finding I’m learning lessons and wisdom daily.
