Woo Hoo! The Webstore is now open! Find us at www.botanicalbliss.ca We will be open 'til Friday March 13 (midnight Pacific time). It's been a busy time as I prep the Bliss for our 2 week March webstore opening! My Soap, REPAIR ointment, Wild Hip Face cream and Fire Cider were made last week and Rose Oil and Quit yer Itchin today. The webstore at www.botanicalbliss.ca will open Thursday and Henk and I will attend the Duncan Market on Sat March 7 10-2pm. Looking forward to connecting with you all soon!

For those of you who shop at Pomme (formerly the Community Farm Store) in Duncan, you may have noticed that they are no longer selling 120ml Wild Hip Face cream.
I am still making it, but want you to purchase it from me directly. I open my website for orders 3xs per year (March 1, July 1 and Nov1). You can order at www.botanicalbliss.ca and pick up at the Duncan market March 7th, at our farm or I can deliver to you locally for $7.

Many of you may remember that in the early days (2011-14), I sold hand made semi precious stone jewellery as well as Botanical Bliss. When the Bliss took off I shelved the jewels as I was just too busy. Well, semi-retirement has opened up some space for me and Henk's daughter Jessica has generously offered to share the results at her cafe, the Fishbowl (Government and Cairnsmore in Duncan). So come for a coffee and take a peek. It's been a lot of fun getting creative again.

Two years of patience, love and hard work is yielding big rewards in our citrus greenhouse. I have never eaten larger or juicier lemons in my life, and all are chemical-free. We pop the tiny Clamondin Oranges into our mouths whole for a blast of delicious Vitamin C and citrus tang. The limes are huge and the Bergamots have yet to be tasted, though scrapping their rinds releases the scent of one of my favorite essential oils. The smell of fresh local citrus in a cold dark November is sooo good for the soul. Thanks Ma Nature, you rock.

Tomorrow at the Duncan Market, Henk and I will be honouring my mother Vivian, who at age 91 and 92 regularly attended the Duncan Market. She loved being there and even on days when I didn't want to attend, she'd say, "I'll put my long johns on" and was game to go. She was always such a trooper. We love you Mom.

It's time to make more Bliss! My website will open in 2 weeks (Nov 1 ) and I will be at the Duncan Market Nov 8th (10-2pm), so time to get busy. Four batches of Castille soap are done as well as REPAIR ointment for dry cracks. Tomorrow I start making Wild Hip Face cream. Then it's on to Wild Hip Rose toner and Lavender body and linen spray. For those outside the Cowichan Valley, I will be shipping as usual with Canada Post, with huge thanks that the strike is only rotating now, not total and devastating. 👍www.botanicalbliss.ca # buyCanadian

Tis the last day of life for my beautiful dahlia garden and a sad day for me. A frost last night took our all but the tallest, who were brought inside to survive tonight. Some of these bouquets are on their way to my 94 year old Mom who has delighted in them since July. I love sharing my favorite flower - they have brought joy to many. Thank you my friends and sleep well, we will see you again in the spring.💕💕💕💕💕
