Two years of patience, love and hard work is yielding big rewards in our citrus greenhouse. I have never eaten larger or juicier lemons in my life, and all are chemical-free. We pop the tiny Clamondin Oranges into our mouths whole for a blast of delicious Vitamin C and citrus tang. The limes are huge and the Bergamots have yet to be tasted, though scrapping their rinds releases the scent of one of my favorite essential oils. The smell of fresh local citrus in a cold dark November is sooo good for the soul. Thanks Ma Nature, you rock.
