Wondering how you're going to beat the heat this weekend? 🥵☀️ Mr. Golden Sun is sending us some crazy high temperatures in the next few days so the Cowichan Community Centre is offering you a place to cool down! 🌬
The CCC is turning their Heritage Hall into a Cooling Shelter for you and your family (dogs welcome too! 🐶) to come in, cool down, and have a drink of water. All COVID-19 protocols in place - masks will be provided.

Today, June 21, is National Indigenous Peoples Day.

National Indigenous Peoples Day is celebrated as part of National Indigenous History Month to encourage greater exploration and learning about the rich and diverse cultures, voices, experiences and histories of First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples in Canada. This date was chosen 25 years ago, in cooperation with Indigenous organizations, as many Indigenous peoples and communities celebrate their culture and heritage on the summer solstice.

WELCOME BACK, WE MISSED YOU!
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Although we really missed you, there will be no hugs from Tracey right now!
We will not be accepting drop in patients, please phone in for an appointment. You will be asked a few questions about your health and recent travels before booking.
We are booking many fewer appointments than before to allow for physical distancing in the waiting room and for cleaning time. Please feel free to wait outside if the weather permits.
Please do not arrive early, we will only allow 2 people in the waiting area. And please come alone unless you need an assistant or are bringing your child in for treatment.
Our restroom is of course available but must be cleaned after every use, so please use your home restroom before you come for your appointment if possible.
Please wear your face mask into the office and only remove it if your Dr. requests you to and use the hand sanitizer as soon as you enter
And please have patience. This is a learning curve for all of us. If you feel unsafe with our new practices, please let us know.

We are getting ready for a reduced capacity opening. The Doctors are seeing emergency and urgent patients only right now, but we will be seeing all of you soon. Please remember your patience though, we are only seeing about half the number of patients in order to physical distance in the waiting room and clean between patients
