Free and confidential resources, referrals, services & programs. Haldimand Pregnancy Care & Family Centre is an organization in Dunnville committed to providing services for parents-to-be, moms, dads and grandparents. Offering classes, programs and 1 on 1 services, all supports are free of charge and available to those in the community who need a helping hand.

Old Testament prophecy told of a coming Saviour - the Light of the world. A baby in a manger was the Light our dark world needed.

Thank You, Jesus, for being our Light. Thank You for making a way for us to live outside of the darkness into which we were born. We were not called to be slaves to darkness, but rather children of Light and Truth. No matter what we face, help us to remember just how good You are.

And now the answer you’re looking for: brightly, soul, hope, knees, angel.

"O Holy Night" tells the story of a world without hoping being transformed by the Saviour's birth. Without Jesus we were the walking dead. But because He came to earth and became sin for us, we have the greatest hope of all: hope of eternity in Heaven with Him. The minute you proclaim that Jesus is Lord, you become a coheir with Him. You go from being a child of darkness to a child of Light. So join with the angels in singing of the glory of Jesus Christ, because He alone is worthy of our praise.

This month's posts focus on our Growing Together group for moms. Growing Together is a safe space for moms to socialize, gain parenting tips, do fun crafts, and learn how to cook on a budget. We're so glad that this mom feels safe and loved at Growing Together!

Thank you to everyone who supported our fundraising events this past weekend! 💙🎄

We were blessed to have Brian Doerksen and Marika Siewert perform on Friday night, and Christmas on Alder was a blast on Saturday! We were so grateful to each of you for supporting our ministry. Without you, we wouldn't be able to support families in Haldimand County like we do. You are essential to the work of our ministry, and we cannot express how grateful we are for your generosity.

All funds raised at these events will go towards HPCFC's free and confidential programs and services. 💙

Too often we forget the real gift of Christmas: Jesus. From the moment of the first sin God had a plan. He could have walked away from His creation, but He didn't. He could have allowed Adam and Eve to stay in the Garden of Eden, where they would be tempted to eat from the Tree of Life and would never have the hope of entering the presence of God again, but He didn't. Instead, He had a plan: Jesus.

From the moment of the first sin His love for us determined our future. Not our sin, not our mistakes, but His love. We have the hope of eternal life because of Jesus. Without Him we would be forever dead and never get to experience the joy that comes from walking in the Light. That's a pretty amazing gift. Jesus died our death. He took on the weight of our sin and shame because it was the only way for us to get to Heaven. We can't get to Heaven by our own works; if we could, then grace wouldn't be grace because grace is entirely undeserved. Yet we have the hope of eternity because we serve a God who made a way where there was no way, and who sent His one and only Son to measure up when we couldn't.

Thank God for Christmas. Because without Christmas - without Jesus - we'd be forever immersed in darkness. Next time you look at your Christmas lights remember that because of Christmas we get to live in the Light.
